Locked machines

Please note that, since AHS moved to Windows 7, it is now quite hard to unlock a locked machine. 

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR AHS MACHINE LOCKED AT THE END OF THE DAY. 

Currently, the easiest workaround is as follows (if anyone finds a better way, please let us know)

1. First make sure that it is not simply the monitor that has been turned off. 
   • If in doubt, press Caps Lock and see if the wee Caps Lock light cycles on/off
2. Open the cabinet with the machine box
3. Power down the machine by pressing the power button for at least 5 seconds
4. Wait another 10 seconds
5. Power up the machine by pressing the power button for at least 5 seconds
6. Login with your usual AHS credentials
7. Send a note to the culprit who left the machine locked that they owe you a beer!
