Bag-Mask VentilationVentilation with a face mask and self-expanding bag is one of the basic ways to provide ventilation for patients who cannot breathe spontaneously. A self-expanding bag is part of every resuscitation cart in the hospital.
The face mask can be held with one hand - EC-clamp technique, or with two hands, where two methods can be used: C-E technique, or V-E technique. The V-E technique has a higher probability of successful ventilation and less hand fatigue.
