Welcome!

You’re a first semester nursing student at John Abbott College, and you’re examining cells in your biology class. Surprisingly enough, the biology department received funds to purchase a new high-tech microscope and some other equipment to help examine human cells as they exist in the body. Your teacher has collected a sample of cells for you to examine, and all they ask is that you explore these cells by examining different structures, including: the cell membrane, nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, various vesicles, and  mitochondria.
