Introduction to the Andy Dufrayne case

This Virtual Patient will examine the choices that have to be made in the care of Andy Dufrayne, an elderly patient admitted to hospital.

You will be asked to make decisions at various points in the story so put yourself in the place of the person making the decision and make the choices you think you would make in real life.

This cast includes:

• Dr Jean Eccles, a consultant for 5 years, played by Joy Blakeman
• Dr Amir Gandhi, a new registrar, played by Shash Lall-Williamson
• Mr Dufrayne, Andy Dufrayne"s son who is a paramedic, played by Patrick Knox
